The Eiffel Tower is said to have had elevators only in the North and South Pillars when it was built in 1889. However, with the construction, and redesigning as well as owing to a large number of visitors coming to see the Iron Lady, it was decided that each of the pillars would have one elevator. These elevators in Eiffel Tower would go up to the first floor, and then to the second, before coming back down again. Furthermore, the Paris Eiffel Tower Elevator was also evolved, removed, changed as well as moved from its position, even though it still very much exists to this day.
As of today, there are 6 elevators in the Eiffel Tower, out of which 3 can go up to the second floor, from the East, North and West pillars. Two elevators go up from the second to the third floor. The last Paris Eiffel Tower Elevator, located in the South pillar, goes directly to the Jules Verne restaurant on the first floor and is a private elevator. Since the stairs from the second floor of eiffel tower to the summit of Eiffel Tower are inaccessible for the public due to safety reasons, you can take the elevator here, which will lead you to the top of the Eiffel Tower.
